How to Trade for Artist, Gallery or Exhibition Advertising

We are accepting gallery, artist and exhibition advertising and are willing to trade promotional activities and business links with you. Our goal is to help promote your business and have you promote ours. And, hopefully this will help us get through these tough times.

Here's how it works:

Trading Opportunities

1) State Gallery Guides or City Gallery Guides (basic listing and link)
2) Artist Artwork or Gallery Exhibition Promotion Pictures
Only on pages that currently feature this type of promotional display on right side.
 

Who's Qualified to Trade

Galleries and Private Dealers, Artists, Museums, Non-Profit Art Organizations and Art Services like Art Appraisers, Art Consultants, Shipping Companies and Framers are all qualified.
 

What Will Be Traded

1) Basic Listing - Your gallery or business name and a link.
We are asking that you send a promotional email mentioning http://art-collecting.com and your business to a minimum 300 people on your mailing list. We'll post your listing and once that it's up, you'll be asked to send out your email. No need for us to see your mailing list, just send copy of the email you sent. If you need help composing a promotional email let us know and we can send a couple examples. Your listing will be included one of our gallery guides for six months. Agree to send a second email in three or four months and you'll be listed for a full year

2) One Month Promotional Picture.
If you're a gallery we ask that you send to your full mailing list and mention http://art-collecting.com and tell them that you're featured in the gallery guide of your city or state. If you're an artist we ask that you include a link to us on your web page as well as send to your mailing list. We are also open to other ideas. Image promotion is limited no more that five per page and order is determined on first come first listed basis.
 

Send Us the Following Information

1. First and last name (name of contact person)
    

2. Full business address, city and state where you're located
    

3. Email address
    

4. Telephone number
    

5. Website URL
   http://www.name_of_website.com/
    

6. Link Name
   This would be the name of your business
   Links are listed in upper and lower case letters only
   Please double check for any spelling errors
    

7. If you are requesting a promotional picture, send the exact dates you want the image and link displayed (four weeks)
    

8. Send the image you want to have displayed. Size does not matter, we'll resize it to fit. Vertical images will be resized to 120 pixels wide and they fit and are visually best on the page. Horizontal images will be 130 pixels wide and will be accepted.
    

9. Name of Artist who created the Artwork
    

10. Title of Artwork and type of art medium, plus copyright date
     

11. Send the information in an email to info@art-collecting.com
    This step is very important because it determines location and placement.
     

That's about it for the process. We'll reply back and acknowledge your trade request and that your email request has been received.
